Description
The adventurer familiarizes him/herself with different kinds of maps. The adventurer learns to picture different map scales in practise and knows how far a map distance is in nature.

Task for the leader
The role of the adventurer leader: The adventurer leader acquires a variety of maps, instructs and guides the activity. Role of the patrol leader: The patrol leader picks up materials and instructions from the adventurer leader, explains the activity to the patrol and divides tasks within the patrol.
